Unverified corm movement can spread disease, weaken yields, and damage long-term farm viability.
Without documentation and testing pathways, it becomes difficult to build buyer and grower confidence.
WSF aims to encourage the development of a practical, cooperative pathway for certified healthy saffron corms and growing material.

Promote documentation systems that help identify source, condition, handling, and movement of planting material.
Share knowledge that helps growers improve establishment, yields, quality, and long-term sustainability.
This work will require seed funding, donations, research partnerships, technical expertise, nursery participation, and grower contributions. Every contribution helps lay the groundwork for healthier saffron production.
